Cops probe suspected suicide - Man allegedly kills self due to love triangle

A Hanover man who was allegedly told by his girlfriend that their relationship was over is suspected to have hanged himself on Wednesday.
The dead man has been identified as 32-year-old Ennis Malcolm, otherwise called 'Negus' or 'Pang', an electrician of Jericho district.
Reports from the Lucea police are that about 8 a.m., relatives stumbled upon the body and alerted them.
On their arrival, it was seen hanging from the ceiling by a sheet that was tied to its neck. The scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue
A man who gave his name as Anthony, told THE WEEKEND STAR that he had known Malcolm since they were in school, and said he had always been a "jealous youth".
Problem to him
"Him possess wid him girlfriend bad, and is like every move she mek it offend him, and every man she talk to is a problem to him," Anthony said. "Mi always a warn him and tell him fi set up him own place inna Jericho, but him ignore mi. An since him start mek a piece a food, him move inna the girl house a Malcolm Heights, and every day him and the girl babyfather involved inna war."
An investigator at the Lucea Police Station told THE WEEKEND STAR that the police are aware of the incident, and are carrying out investigations.
The lawman, who requested anonymity, said that Malcolm and his girlfriend's babyfather had an altercation previously, but the babyfather had moved on and was even living with a new girlfriend.
"But every time he visits his babymother, who is Malcolm's girlfriend, he (Malcolm) causes a problem," he said. "The police have been warning them to work on this love triangle because it will only end with someone being killed. So it would appear that the female involved got tired of the confrontations, and turned out Malcolm who was living at her house."
It is reported that Malcolm moved back to his mother's house in Jericho, and had allegedly been telling persons that he was going to kill himself because his girlfriend did not want him anymore.
