Pest control worker attacked by ‘illuminati’ rats

James 'Yellow Man' Murphy, 64, says he was yesterday confronted by a 'dangerous' set of rats while he was cleaning a building in Kingston.

The man says he was commissioned for a job, and he suspected that rats were breeding in the area. When he started spraying and cleaning, 10 rats ran from below ground like a mob and attacked him.

He said that he had no choice but to draw for his cutlass to fight off the nefarious rodents.

"Me a clean the place and see some rat a rush me and me just start murder dem. Is a cutlass me tek murder dem, enuh, 10 a dem and me kill nine, so one escape," he told THE STAR.

Murphy says he has never come across rats as vile as these in his many years of working. So, it was kill or be killed.

"I am a pest control specialist, so a regular me a clean building. So me a clean up the place and dem just run out pon me. Dem rat deh come like dem in a illuminati and me nuh join nuh company wid dem," he said.

Murphy said that the rodents even consumed a bag of scotch bonnet pepper.

"Dem nyam potato, onion, carrot, every God almighty thing dem nyam. From I go in the building, I know seh rat live in deh, so I tell the lady (owner) seh me a go work pon it. Me start take up some palette, and dem start run out. Me just stand up at the door and murder dem as dem a run out," he said. "Me lock up in a di shop and when dem a try run out me tek cutlass and chop dem up. Dem a bolt and a try run out and a so me just a chop dem!"

Murphy said that one that escaped only got a chop on his tail, as he was moving too speedily.

"Him gone go tell the tales to the rest a family, say him buck up pon a dangerous man," he laughed. "Him must a tell him friend dem say, 'Boy, a 10 a we and a man murder nine'," he said.
