99-year-old pilot takes to the skies
A 99-year-old woman has become the world's oldest active pilot. Robina Asti recently gave her final flight lesson at Riverside Municipal Airport in California.
She said: "I love getting people to experience what it's like to lift off this Earth. It is so good."
Robina is determined to show that older people are strong and can still contribute to society. She edged out the previous record holder, an Iowa man who flew aged 98.
Her last flying lesson was with student Brandon Martini, who gained a "new perspective" after flying with Asti - who has been teaching people to take to the skies for decades.
He said: "She taught me some things up there that I haven't learned in well over 1,000 hours.
"It was neat getting a new perspective from somebody who's been flying so long."

Man spots himself in 115-year-old picture
A man is convinced he led a past life after spotting his doppelganger in a 1905 photograph. Michael Koropisz has an obsession with the 19th century and claimed that he was "gobsmacked" after noticing a man who bears a striking resemblance to himself in the 115-year-old picture.
Explaining how he first saw the photo, Michael said: "I was sent the photo on Instagram as someone thought it was me. They'd seen it on a website for collars.
"I was gobsmacked when I realised it wasn't me, we have the same hair, face shape, nose and dress sense. When I reverse image searched it online, I knew it wasn't fake and was in fact taken 115 years ago."
He added: "I've always been obsessed with the 19th century era and have dedicated my wardrobe and lifestyle to it, and now maybe that's because of my past life."

Fox accused of stealing 100 shoes
A fox stole more than 100 shoes in Berlin. The furry thief took footwear from people's homes in the Zehlendorf neighbourhood, according to local news reports.
All types of shoes were stolen by the fox, including trainers, slippers and sandals.
The thief was eventually unmasked by Christian Meyer after he had noticed that his running shoes had disappeared. After posting about the theft on social media, Meyer soon discovered that he was just one victim of the thieving creature.
He later spotted the fox in the area and took a photo of the animal "caught red-handed with a pair of blue flip flops in his mouth" and managed to uncover the haul of footwear. However, he is yet to find his missing running shoes.
