Party promoter among 41 persons charged for breaching COVID protocols

A party promoter is among 41 persons charged for breaches of the Disaster Risk Management Act, at a party on St. Johns Road in St. Catherine on Friday, August 7.

Police reports are that between 12:15 a.m. and 1:40 a.m., the patrons were seen at a party and warned however, they did not comply.

They were subsequently arrested and charged, and are scheduled to appear before the St. Catherine Parish Court on Friday, October 23.

The police has implored persons to obey all orders issued under the Disaster Risk Management Act, noting that the orders are in place to promote the safety of all persons.
