Early morning minor earthquake hits Jamaica

The University of the West Indies Earthquake Unit, has confirmed that there was a magnitude 3.1 earthquake in sections of Jamaica at 1 o'clock this morning.

The epicentre was located near Kitson Town, St Catherine with a focal depth of 21km. 

This is the third earthquake felt in sections of the island in three days, following a morning quake on Wednesday, and an evening quake on Thursday.
