A man has started taking his pet geese to the pub. Sven Kirby adopted the birds, named Norbert and Beep Beep, during lockdown and he has started taking them to his local in Leeds.

Kirby said: "I know a goose is a strange pet, but it's something different that I have wanted for a while.

"I could have got a dog, but as I work full-time I didn't think that was very fair; geese require much less attention.

"I love the two of them, they're brilliant characters and great fun to keep as pets."

Kirby also revealed that the geese are easy to look after as they don't need much exercise and their diet largely consists of grass.

A 17-year-old has the longest legs in the world

Maci Currin, 17, from Texas, has claimed the Guinness World Record for the longest legs in the world. Her left leg is more than four feet five inches long, while her right is just a fraction shorter. She knocked Russian basketball star Ekaterina Lisina - who has four-foot four-inch legs - from the top spot.

Currin stands at six feet ten inches tall and has urged others with unique physical attributes not to "hide" them.

She stated: "Don't hide it, embrace it."

Currin added: "There are definitely negatives to having such long legs - hitting your head walking through doors, getting into cars, trying to find clothes that fit."

Two-headed snake pays surprise visit

A woman was left stunned when a two-headed snake slithered into her living room. Jeannie Wilson was playing cards with her family at home in North Carolina when she discovered the unique reptile.

She said: "I found this rat snake in my sunroom after we had a card game with friends and family. My son had opened the door to let some air in and I guess it came in then."

Wilson confessed to feeling some sympathy for the snake.

She explained: "Well, I've never been a snake person, but when I saw him my heart broke. I know nothing about snakes, but I knew it was not poisonous.

"I said, 'There's nobody gonna hurt you.' I wanted him to be somewhere safe and taken care of."
