113 new COVID cases, two more deaths

Jamaica on Sunday recorded two COVID-19 deaths, increasing the death tally to 326.

The deceased are a 63-year-old female from Kingston and St. Andrew, and a 64-year- old male from St. Mary.

Meanwhile of  the 661 samples tested in Jamaica in the last 24 hours, 113 have tested positive for COVID-19, pushing total confirmed cases to 14,274 with 2,056 being active.

Of the new cases, 46 are males and 67 are females, with ages ranging from 59 days to 100 years.

In the meantime, there were 18 more recoveries, increasing the total to 11,727.

Some 113 persons are in hospital with 14 being moderately and 13 critically ill.

According to the Ministry of Health, 20 persons are in government quarantine, while 21,282 are quarantined at home.
