Yallahs High postpones face-to-face classes after student tests positive for COVID-19

February 01, 2021

The Yallahs High School in St Thomas says it will be suspending face-to-face classes this week after a student tested positive for COVID.

The school said the student last attended classes on January 15. However, the student has two other two siblings who continued to attend the school.

It was believed that he was displaying what appeared to be sinus issues.

The school said all classes will now be online during this period to facilitate a deep cleaning and sanitisation process.

In September, the school also had to be closed for deep cleaning after a teacher tested positive for the virus.
