100 new COVID cases, two more deaths, 29 recoveries
Two more Jamaicans have died as a result of COVID-19 pushing the death tally to 355.
The deceased are q 41-year-old male from St. Elizabeth, and a 49-year-old female from Hanover.
Meanwhile, of the 829 samples tested in the last 24 hours, 100 returned positive results increasing Jamaica's total confirmed cases to 16,073 with 3,399 being active.
Of the new cases, 37 are males and 63 are females, with ages ranging from 5 months to 94 years.
In the meantime, there were 29 more recoveries, increasing the total to 12,137.
Some 112 persons are in hospital with 15 being moderately and 14 critically ill.
According to the Ministry of Health, six persons are in government quarantine, while 19,403 are quarantined at home.
