Thief caught after leaving evidence at crime scene

A man who left his condition of bail book at the scene of a crime in Exchange, Ocho Rios, St Ann, has been arrested.

Charged with housebreaking and larceny is Javier Amos, 24, landscaper of Boham Heights, Exchange, in the parish. Reports from the Ocho Rios police are that about 12:15 p.m. on Friday, February 5, Amos kicked in the door of a shop and stole the contents. He then left the shop, but left the bail book behind. The police were summoned and Amos was subsequently arrested and charged. He court date will be made available at a later date.
