Juliet Cuthbert-Flynn tests positive for COVID

State Minister in the Ministry of Health and Wellness and Member of Parliament for St Andrew West Rural, Juliet Cuthbert-Flynn, has tested positive for COVID-19.

The state minister confirmed her positive result in a tweet this morning where she thanked the staff of the Spanish Town Hospital for the care provided. 

She further encouraged Jamaicans to continue to do their best to keep each other safe. 

Cuthbert-Flynn also shared that the virus has put a damper on some of her current constituency projects, however she has called upon her councillors to assist. 

"Having COVID-19 and being a representative of the people has been a challenge," the state minister expressed, noting that she was unable to respond to an incident yesterday. 

In concluding her twitter thread, Cuthbert-Flynn assured her constituents and Jamaicans that her work will continue despite her phsyical absence.
