Ten doses of COVID vaccine disappears from Cornwall Regional Hospital

A full vial of COVID-19 vaccine has disappeared from the Cornwall Regional Hospital in St James.

This was confirmed by the Regional Director of the Western Regional Health Authority Errol Greene.

Checks are now under way to determine if it was stolen.

Jamaica began its vaccination programme last week after receiving 50,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine from India.

Each vial contains 10 doses of the vaccine.
