Clarendon man arrested for chopping woman during argument
A fisherman of Portland Cottage district in Clarendon has been arrested and charged for chopping a woman with a machete during an altercation on Tuesday.
Charged with wounding with intent is 35-year-old Randy McKenzie, otherwise called 'Freddy'.
Police reports are that about 10:30 a.m., McKenzie and a woman with whom he had a relationship, got into an argument during which he used a stone to hit the woman before using a machete to chop her to the face and neck.
The police were summoned and McKenzie was arrested and subsequently charged on Friday, March 19.
His court date is being finalised.
