Cops shut down illegal parties in West Kingston, several party-goers arrested

Several party-goers were arrested in West Kingston on Friday night for breaches under the Disaster Risk Management Act, as the police shut down two illegal parties. 

In a series of videos shared by the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) on social media, several party-goers were seen maskless, as the police enforced measures under the DRMA.

According to the JCF the parties occured in Denham Town and Tivoli Gardens. 

The police say several arrests were made after party-goers failed to comply with instructions. 

Pieces of sound system equipment were also seized as part of the crackdown.
