Culture In A Cup seminar to excite Jamaica Rum Festival
Rum lovers have quickly bought all 60 spots for the Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum 'Culture In A Cup' seminar, which has been described as an 'edutainment' experience at this year's virtual staging of the Jamaica Rum Festival.
The seminar takes place tomorrow, March 26, between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Pavel Smith, marketing manager at J. Wray and Nephew (JWN) Limited, is thrilled by the interest in the event.
"Participants should grab a friend and join the Wray Rum Culture In A Cup seminar. We promise to stimulate your senses with exhilarating drink recipes and techniques for an enhanced experience with your favourite rum. Learn new tricks to impress your friends and savour this flavour-inspired journey with the 'Spirit of Jamaica'," Smith said.
Culture In A Cup is set to provide an exciting mixology session with local flair-tending specialist Captain Kidd, and JWN Academy lead instructor Sharmon Hinds. Additionally, participants will engage in a sensational exploration into the history of the Spirit of Jamaica by Christopher 'Johnny' Daley.
The tickets were sold out on Gustazos.com nine days ahead of the event. The fee provides access for one person to the online session, as well as a Wray Rum seminar kit with items to aid in the active participation of mixology sessions during the virtual event. Participants have been told to redeem their seminar kits from Gustazos.com.
