Travel itinerary and ID needed for airport trips during weekend lockdown
The police are advising members of the public who will transport persons to and from the airports, over the lockdown period, to travel with the itinerary of the person travelling.
According to the police, the person doing the pick-up should also have a government issued identification card, as this will speed up the verification process and minimise delay.
The police have also appealed to Jamaicans to help them to keep each person safe by complying with the measures, as the country works together to flatten the curve.
The first of three consecutive weekend lcokdowns will begin tomorrow Saturday, March 27, with a 12 pm curfew that ends on Monday, March 29 at 5am.
