Florida woman caught with gun in luggage at Sangster airport
A Florida woman was arrested and charged at the Sangster International Airport, Montego Bay, St James, after a firearm and several rounds of ammunition were found in her luggage on Sunday.
Charged with with illegal possession of firearm and illegal possession of ammunition is 37-year-old Natasha Girvens of a Tampa, Florida, USA address.
Police reports are that about 11:30 a.m., during a security check, Girvens luggage was checked and a Glock pistol, two magazines and thirty-one 9mm cartridges were found.
She was arrested, subsequently charged, and the firearm and ammunition seized.
Her court date is being finalised.
