Four more COVID deaths
The Ministry of Health and Wellness has revealed that four more persons have died from COVID-19 on Monday, pushing the tally to 622.
The deceased are: a 33-year-old female from St Catherine, an 88-year-old male from Kingston and St Andrew, a 53-year-old male from Kingston and St Andrew and a 72-year-old female from Portland.
One other death has been listed as coincidental.
Eight other deaths are under investigation, bringing that tally to 103.
The number of new infections increased by 315 yesterday, bringing the total to 41,328 with 21,971 of them being active.
The ages of the new cases range from to two months to 96 years old.
Meanwhile, 147 more persons have recovered from COVID-19, bringing that tally to 18,444.
Thirty-three patients are critically ill and 31 are deemed moderately ill. Some 388 persons are in hospital.
