St Catherine South police nab murder suspects

The St Catherine South Police say they have arrested two of the prime suspects in a murder committed on Baptist Road in Gregory Park, St Catherine, on Monday, April 5.

Reports are that about 8:30 p.m., the police received information that a man was shot.

Upon their arrival, 27-year-old Shatiek Hall was seen lying in a pool of blood in his yard. He was later transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The swift action of lawmen led to an operation at a premises in the area about 9:45 p.m., the same evening.

During the operation four persons were arrested, one was released and three were placed in custody—two of whom are believed to be major suspects in the murder.

Investigation continues.
