Woman of God issues ‘typhoon’ warning

A Christian woman has sounded a warning that Jamaica will soon by hit by a weather system of monumental proportions. Nadine Lynch, who is also an attorney-at-law, said God told her that the country will be hit by a typhoon, which is the name given to weather systems similar to hurricanes. The name is given to weather disturbances in the Northwest Pacific.

"The Lord told me on April 21, 2021, about 1:10 a.m., to warn Jamaica that a typhoon is coming and the water from the typhoon will soak the earth and settle under the foundation of the houses and move them," Lynch told THE WEEKEND STAR.

Lynch said she received the revelation from God, moments after waking up from a dream. She said that in that vision, it was raining, and there was a peculiar situation at the Linstead Hospital where all the nurses were getting wet, but only the male nurses were complaining.

"A few days after the warning, the Lord again told me that his people are not ready for what is coming. He said the people are a perverse generation that heap to themselves teachers, and have gone after other gods, and have stiffened their necks and stopped their ears," Lynch said.

Her words mirror those written by Paul in 2 Timothy 4:3. The apostle wrote to Timothy and warned that the time would come when people would no longer listen to sound doctrine.

Thundering voice to her

Lynch, who describes herself as simply a messenger of God, said that a thundering voice that spoke to her was specific in saying Jamaica will be faced with a typhoon, but He did not say when this would happen. The woman of God, who has been practising law for seven years, said that the Lord dropped Matthew 7:24-27, and a song with the words ' Jesus you are my firm foundation, I put my trust in your holy name' in her spirit, to impart to the people.

Matthew 7:24-27 surrounds one of the parables of Jesus, and centres around two men: one who built his house upon a rock and another who built his house upon sand.

"Many times we hear messages like these and we immediately start preparing for the disaster by buying up supplies and boarding up windows and doors, but we forget to pay special attention to what is of utmost importance, and that is, we establish our relationship with Jesus Christ of Nazareth and ensure that we are standing on firm ground," the Christian woman said.

Meteorologists have projected 19 named storms, inclusive of eight hurricanes and four major hurricanes for this season. This is above the 30-year average of 14 named storms -- seven hurricanes and three major hurricanes. A record 30 named storms were formed in the 2020 hurricane season, 14 of which became hurricanes, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration based in the USA, said.
