Man charged for stabbing woman with screwdriver

Twenty-three-year-old Savijon Brown, an artist of Gold Smith Avenue, August Town in St. Andrew has been arrested and charged following an incident in Bridgeport, Portmore, St. Catherine on Saturday, September 11.

Reports are that about 8:45 p.m., Brown had a dispute with the complainant, during which he used a screwdriver to stab her to the left side of her forehead and left arm.

He was subsequently charged with unlawful wounding after being pointed out by the complainant.

His court date is being finalised.
