L.A. Lewis summons Seaga’s spirit
Popular entertainment personality Horace 'L.A.' Lewis, a self-proclaimed paramount chief high priest, yesterday visited the grave of Edward Seaga with a crystal ball, chanting intensely in what he said was a move to invoke the spirit of the late former prime minister.
"Seaga is one of our biggest freedom fighter and Maroon," said Lewis during his visit to National Heroes Park in Kingston where Seaga's remains are buried.
"Edward Seaga, our Caucasian Maroon," Lewis said. "We summon thy spirit to save the people of this land against the Romans, legions and 'reptilian being'. We summon they spirit in the crystal ball of the great great Plato. The crystal ball light up the fire, we summon fire, we summon smoke," he said.
He then placed his crystal ball in a bubble wrap and said that the powers of Seaga are now in the instrument, and is ready to assist in saving the Jamaican people.
Lewis' visit to National Heroes Park took place shortly after culture minister Olivia 'Babsy' Grange led a wreath-laying service there in honour of reggae singer Dennis Brown who was born on February 1.
