Alleged G-City gangster killed in MoBay

Two firearms and a quantity of ammunition have been seized by a joint police/military team during an operation in Salt Spring, St James this morning.
The police said that a man identified as Tevin Stewart, otherwise called ‘Pete’, was fatally shot during the confrontation with the security forces. The cops said that he was a top-tier member of the G-City gang.
The prime minister recently said that 85 per cent of all homicides in Jamaica are committed using an illegal firearm.
Data published by the Jamaica Constabulary Force indicate that 156 murders were recorded on the island between January 1 and February 5.
