Two killed in St James hours apart
Two men were shot and killed in separate incidents in St James earlier today.
The first incident involved a juice vendor who was gunned down at the Montego Bay Transport Centre this morning.
He has been identified as Honey Stephens, also known as 'Mignit', from Petersfield in Westmoreland.
It is reported that about 8:00 a.m., Stephens was selling juice inside the transport centre when he was approached by a man with whom he had an argument.
The man brandished a handgun and opened fire hitting the vendor.
The other incident occurred in Catherine’s Hall, where a man was shot several times by armed men as he tried to enter a Jamaica National Bank.
He has yet to be identified.
Police investigations continue.
