Father murdered by gunmen after telling son goodbye

Javel Dias said his final goodbye to his child yesterday when gunmen instructed him to send the child away. The gunmen then shot Dias three times in the head in Barnstable, Manchester.

According to reports, at approximately 3 pm on Sunday, Dias was at a shop attached to his home when he was called out by persons who drove up in a Grey Motor vehicle. 

He was instructed to put the child down and told to allow the child to flee. 

Several shots were subsequently fired, hitting Dias thrice in the head. 

He was taken to the Mandeville Regional Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Police investigations are underway.
