The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have arrived in Jamaica
Prince William and Duchess of Cambridge Catherine took their first step on local soil earlier today. They were greeted by Minister of Foreign Affairs Kamina Smith and Antonette Weymss Gorman, JDF Chief of Defence Staff.
The royal couple is on an eight-day tour of sections of the Caribbean in celebration of the Queen's 70th anniversary on the throne.
The couple was greeted by a host of other local dignitaries including Lisa Hanna, and Tom Tavares Finson.
While the prince was saluted by the JDF Guard of Honour, the Duchess of Cambridge chatted up a storm with Miss Hanna.
The Duke and Duchess were then whisked away in a private vehicle to Kings House to a courtesy call.
