Student stabbed at Excelsior High School

A student from The Excelsior High School on Mountain View Avenue in Kingston, is the most recent victim of stabbing incidents ravishing high schools this week.

According to eye witness reports, the student, who is said to be in grade 11 was stabbed three times by another student yesterday in front of the school’s gates.

The blows are said to have landed in the left side of the victim’s hand, his left upper chest, and his right hand.

 He is currently being treated at the hospital, though the severity of his injuries is unknown. 

The whereabouts of the offending student are also unknown. 

The STAR’s efforts to get a comment on the incident were rebuffed by Dean of Discipline Mrs Green-Leon who said Principal Deanroy Bromfield was unable to speak at that time. 

Calls made to the phone of Marlon Nesbeth Senior Superintendent of Police for the St Andrew Central division also went unanswered.
