UK resident murdered, person of interest named

Detectives from Half Way Tree Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) are currently probing the killing of a woman on Grayden Avenue, Kingston 10 on Monday.

The woman has been identified as 29-year-old Saffia Davy, a Jamaican who resided in the United Kingdom.

According to the police about 11:30 a.m., a property manager found Davy lying face down in blood in the bathroom and summoned the police.

The scene was processed and her body was removed to the morgue pending post-mortem.

Leighton Dela-Haye of James Hill District, Clarendon has been named as a person of interest in relation to the murder.
