Mother, son found dead in Manchester home

The police in Manchester are investigating what appears to be a double murder in the Providence District, Christiana, in the parish. 

The bodies of 56-year-old Althea Rowe and her son, Cleon Palmer, were found in Palmer's home on Tuesday, after relatives could not get in contact with them. 

According to police, Rowe came to visit her son in the district on Saturday and could not be reached by her relatives on Sunday. 

After several failed attempts to reach the deceased, relatives contacted the police who later discovered the bodies with what appeared to be gunshot wounds. 

Police theorise that the mother and son could have been killed from Saturday night.
