A 28-year-old woman who gave birth to triplets nine months ago is seeking help to care for the infants who are currently in need of medication.

The three beautiful babies, named Azaria, Azalia and Azaire will celebrate their first birthday on April 21.

"I need help for the babies, like diapers, feeding and whatever they can get to eat, you understand?"a desperate Tanisha Whyte told THE WEEKEND STAR on Thursday.

"The girls (Azaria and Azalia), they are underweight, so they are on medication and I can't afford the medication," Whyte admitted. Apart from the triplets, Whyte has two older sons.

"They are nine and seven but I'm just focussing on the babies," she said.

Whyte worked as a security guard at the Royalton Hotel before she got pregnant and had to leave the job. Since then, things have not been easy, and with the babies not even a year old, it is difficult to go back out to work. She said that their father contributes to the well-being of the children, but it is not enough.

"I'm getting jobs but the cost to babysit is $1,000 per day for each of them. That's $15,000 a week, so it's kind of hard on me right now," she said.

Despite what she is going through, Whyte is optimistic about her future. She said that she sees her current situation as a temporary setback on her way to achieving her goals.

"I always wanted to go back to school to finish my education. My dream is to become a geriatric nurse or to have a small business of my own," she said.
