"A crocus bag o things," according to lottery buyers who have been flocking Supreme Ventures outlets to purchase the ticket to their dreams with the hope of being that lucky winner of the mega jackpot.
Chloleen Daley-Muschette, Supreme Ventures Limited's corporate communications and PR manager, says the company has seen an increase in sales over past weeks as the prize money gets bigger, rising to this never-before-seen amount.
"Jamaicans are reacting positively to the historic Super Lotto jackpot on offer. There's a buzz across the island and many people are making sure they have a chance to win the jackpot by getting their tickets," she said.
The current jackpot is the largest ever for the lottery and gaming company.
The second largest jackpot was more than 10 years ago, at $467 million.
THE STAR spoke with Errol Livingston just seconds after he purchased his ticket in downtown Kingston, and should he win, the Rastafarian said that he would venture into the agricultural field.
"Mi would go into agriculture because mi like da field deh. I would build a lab that deals with fruits and mi have children and friends so I would help them out as well, and just bank the rest," Livingston said.
Among the first set of goals on Martin Kamptha's list would be to repay sprinter Usain Bolt his missing millions.
"I would write Usain Bolt a cheque and pay him back all of the money weh dem rob up from him because him work hard for it and deserve it. I would then help the needy and not the greedy, so mi nah guh give any man who want to just floss, him have to have potential. Mi would then get a business weh make money all when mi a sleep, and help out mi loved ones dem," Kamptha said.
Samuel Gayle has been purchasing the Super Lotto for years and he is keeping his fingers crossed, hoping that he will be cashing in big very soon.
"Mi a buy lotto and Super Lotto from it come a Jamaica and is one set a numbers mi buying. The most mi ever catch is three numbers, but if mi ever win mi would buy a bus because mi have a house already," Gayle expressed. "Mi family would never know poverty again because all when mi dead mi children and grandchildren would be benefiting. We couldn't broke again man."
Holding his ticket tightly, Linford Lewis said he would venture into real estate. This he believes would rid his family of poverty.
"Mi would build some apartments once mi win da big money deh because yuh can't lose offa real estate. Mi family wouldn't broke again. Mi ago buy mi ticket and just wait to win," Lewis said.
Daley-Muschette noted that this multimillion-dollar jackpot gives a golden opportunity for players and whoever wins the Super Lotto jackpot is in for a life-changing experience.
