Policeman shot while using ATM in Old Habour

A member of the police was shot and injured while using an Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) along Old Harbour Road in St Catherine earlier today. 

When he was pounced upon by unknown assailants who shot him in the hip region.

The victim, who is an inspector assigned to the St Catherine North Division, is now being treated at a hospital for the injury.
