Warehouse attendant slapped with gun, ammo charges

The police report that they have arrested and charged a 25-year-old warehouse attendant after an illegal gun and several rounds of ammunition were found hidden in the roof of his home.

He has been identified as Neiko Hines from Grants Pen Avenue in Grant’s Pen, Kingston 8.

It is reported that about 8:00 a.m., lawmen were on operation in the area when a premises which was occupied by Hines was searched.

During the search, fifty-one 9mm rounds of ammunition were seen in the ceiling of his house.

He was subsequently arrested— following a question and answer session in the presence of his attorney, he was formally changed.

He is scheduled to appear before the Half Way Tree Gun Court on Monday, April 24.
