The generals win battle of the stars

St Thomas and UK-based sound Five Star General emerged victorious after a gruelling face-off with Twin Star in the second round of the Magnum All-Star Sound Clash last Friday night.

The clash, held at the All-Star Headquarters on 153 Olympic Way, St Andrew, had five scintillating rounds which gave each group an equal opportunity to showcase its talents and flair. The first round ended in a draw before Five Star General won the next four rounds to register a comprehensive win.

"We are so excited - every one of us is so excited," said the front man for Five Star General.

"Our fans, our community, and everybody in St Thomas is so excited for us," Five Star General said before going on to issue a warning to other competitors.

"This competition is for Five Star so just back away!" he exclaimed.

Sound systems are competing for a cash prize of $1 million, trophy for the best sound system title and bragging rights.
