Police seize illegal firearm from old refrigerator in St James

The police in St James say they have recovered an illegal 9mm pistol from the Bogue Hill community, in the parish on Thursday afternoon.

It is reported the firearm was found hidden in an old refrigerator during an operation by the Freeport Police Department sometime after 3:00 p.m.

No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.
