French national charged in Jet Ski death of US citizen
CASTRIES, St. Lucia, Apr 18, CMC – A French national has been remanded into custody after he appeared in a magistrate’s court here charged with “reckless manslaughter” in the death of a United States citizen in a Jet Ski accident.
Police said that 21-year-old Evans Ramos of Cosmellieur, France was formally arrested and formally charged following the incident that occurred at the Reduit Beach, in Gros Islet, north of here last Friday.
Police said that Jazmine Chandler-Tabb of New York, had died at the Gros Islet Polyclinic. The authorities gave no details on the incident, nor did it state when the French national is due to return to court.
