St Catherine businessman shot, injured while making delivery

The St Catherine North Police have launched a manhunt to locate two men who are accused of shooting a businessman while he tried to make a delivery earlier today. 

The incident occurred in the Berkshire Hall District in the parish. 

According to reports, about 12:40 p.m., the victim was in the process of  delivering an order of concrete blocks to a man on the Berkshire Hall District.  

It is further reported that when the buyer excused himself to pick up the money to pay for the building material,  two armed men emerged from nearby bushes and demanded the truck and items.

A physical struggle ensued between the businessman and one of the gunmen, during which the other armed man fired several shots hitting the businessman.

The injured man fell while the hoodlums escaped in the area. 

The matter is being investigated by the Linstead Police.
