The winner of Supreme Ventures' $45-million Lotto jackpot said she was composed when she learnt she won the massive bonanza drawn on March 25.

C. Clarke, from eastern Jamaica, won the jackpot after purchasing a ticket with the numbers 10, 12, 17, 20, 27, 33 at Yallahs Farm Store.

"It's an amazing feeling, but at the same time I'm feeling calm. I've been buying Lotto for years, and I knew for sure that one day I would win," Clarke said.

When asked about her plans for the money, Clarke revealed that she has no immediate plans.

"I think I'll take a few weeks to let it sink in and enjoy the feeling of being a winner," she said. "I haven't really thought about what I'll do with the money yet. Once I decide what do with the winnings, I will make sure it's something that benefits the family."

Dwayne Tulloch, senior vice-president in charge of retail and customer operations at Supreme Ventures, said the gaming company is happy to "help another person to achieve their goals and dreams".

"Winning the Lotto is truly life-changing, and even though she (Clarke) hasn't made any specific plans yet for her winnings, $45 million offers her a world of possibilities," Tulloch said.
