Clarendon nurse shot, injured in midday shooting

The Clarendon police have launched an investigation into the brazen midday shooting of a practical nurse along Rosewell Road in Sandy Bay, Clarendon today.

The police say the woman is admitted in serious condition. 

It is reported that about 1:45p.m., the woman was on her way home when a black Honda Stream motorcar drove up behind her.

A male exited the vehicle and opened gunfire hitting the woman in the buttocks, hands, and face. She was assisted to hospital where she is being treated.

Investigations are ongoing.
