Mom had weird dream before son’s disappearance

The night before 23-year-old delivery rider Shane Bryan went missing, his mother Paulette Henry got an unsettling dream.

She, however, tossed any concerns and worry aside. But on April 20, the Clarendon woman received news that her son had disappeared.

"I get a funny dream but I never take it make nothing. I dream see a truck coming up the road with a chariot on the back and then I went to look for someone and they were adding on a one room to the front room. It is not a good dream but I didn't make much of it. Mi think they were pranking me the next day when I heard he was missing. I never believe because people sometimes talk things that don't guh suh. When mi see after days and mi nah hear from him, mi realise say him missing fi true," she said.

Bryan, who hails from Treadlight district in May Pen, along with his friend 29-year-old Richie Jackson of Bucks Avenue, also in May Pen, were reported missing on April 21. The duo were reportedly last seen on a motorcycle heading into the York Town community about 10:30 a.m. the previous day. Henry said she is unaware why anyone would want to hurt Bryan and Jackson.

"My son is a very jovial and hard-working youth. He likes to dance and him nice. Him nuh give trouble and he has a little boastiness to him, but him nice and nuh give trouble. He is a very good son," Henry said. Bryan's family is offering a $500,000 cash reward for information on his whereabouts.

"I am asking whoever have them if them can just please send them home for me. Please don't hurt them and if them do you anything, I am begging you to please forgive them. I can't do without my son and the days haven't been very nice at all because mi miss mi son. Mi work very hard to take care of my children and I don't want them to just go down the drain like this. So just send home my son and his friend, please I am begging you," she said.

The police said Bryan is of dark complexion, medium build, 165 centimetres (5 ft, 5 inches) tall and sports a plaited hairstyle.

Jackson is of dark complexion, slim build, about 185 centimetres (6 ft, 1 inch) tall and sports plaits in the centre of his head, with bald sides.
