St Vincent man killed days before his re-appearance in court
The police in St Vincent are investigating the execution style murder of Jamarlo “Ice” Dunbar, who was shot three days before he was to reappear in court on a charge of burglary.
Police said that Dunbar was gunned down last Saturday and is the 16th murder recorded so far this year.
They said that man, who is believed to be in his 30’s, was shot near a supermarket and bakery as he made his way home on foot from the nearby Tree House Bar at around 4.40 am (local time).
Eyewitness said that the assailant stood over Dunbar as he laid wounded on the ground and fired several shots into his body, resulting in his death at the scene.
Several videos about the murder have been circulating on social media with one person heard counting the number of shells and apparent gunshot wounds on Dunbar’s body.
Dunbar’s death less than a month after another resident of the Pole Yard community was shot and later died at hospital.
