Woman shot in the head at Manchester bar

A shooting in New Green, Manchester has left a man and woman in critical condition. The female victim is said to have sustained gunshot wounds to the head.

The police report that about 8:45 p.m. on Saturday, the victims were at a bar in the New Green square when they were pounced upon by a lone gunman who opened fire hitting them, before escaping.

It is not immediately clear if other persons sustained injuries.

The Manchester police are investigating.
