The fourth staging of the highly anticipated Jamaica International Beauty Expo (JIBE) is set for the Montego Bay Convention Centre for June 23 to 25.

The event, which focuses on the business of beauty and wellness, was launched at Icon Feareview Mall in Montego Bay, St James, last Tuesday.

"The expo, staged under the theme 'Business of Beauty', is a powerful connectivity platform that affords stakeholders in the tourism, agriculture, shipping and beauty industry to network and forge plans for the development of linkages among the industries," said P Falasha Harrison, who was the guest speaker.

Dr Charmaine Thomas, CEO of Beauty by Doctors Medical Spa, which is the title sponsor for the event, said her entity is committed to supporting and promoting the growth of the beauty industry in Jamaica and beyond.

"The beauty industry is not just about looking good -- it's about creating opportunities for growth and development, particularly in the beauty tourism space. At Beauty by Doctors, our team of skilled physicians and specialists are dedicated to delivering safe, effective, and personalised treatments that cater to the unique needs of each client. We're committed to helping our clients achieve living their best life, through our range of non-invasive cosmetic treatments and plastic surgery services," Thomas said.
