Gun found in plastic bag

Two persons have been arrested and charged with firearm offences following an incident on Burke Lane, Kingston 8, on May 22.

Ricardo Gould, 28, otherwise called 'Ricky', and 37-year-old Tiffany Gould, otherwise called 'Trudy', both of Burke Lane, have been charged with possession of prohibited weapon and possession of ammunition. Reports from the Constant Spring police are that about 5:30 a.m., a team of police armed with a search warrant carried out operation at the home of both accused. During the search, a room was checked and one clear transparent plastic bag containing a Ruger. 40 pistol, with a magazine affixed containing five .40 cartridges, was found. Both accused were taken into police custody and were later charged. Their court date is being finalised.
