Man in Kiprich house robbery pleads guilty

Kemar Jones, the man charged with breaking into the house of Marlon 'Kiprich' Plunkett, pleaded guilty to his charges when he appeared before court on Monday. 

He is scheduled to be sentenced on July 12, 2023.

According to police reports that about 10:45 a.m. on March 11, 2023, the entertainer's place in Portmore, St Catherine was broken into by Jones.

A Rolex watch, Gold Chain, a pair of glasses valued US $450 and cash of US $15,000 and CAD $300 were all stolen from the dwelling.

The matter was reported to the police and an investigation launched. The jewellery was seized in downtown Kingston.

Jones was arrested and subsequently charged  with house breaking and larceny.
