Inmate stabbed to death at GP

Melvin Hill, an inmate at the Tower Street Adult Correctional Centre in Kingston, more commonly known as GP, was stabbed to death during an altercation on Friday. 

The Department of Correctional Service confirmed the information, and informed The STAR that a sharp object was brought into play during the altercation.

The police and the Independent Commission of Investigations have been notified, and are probing Hill's death.
