19-y-o 'Dudus' charged with larceny in Manchester

Nineteen-year-old Manchester resident Derrick ‘Dudus’ Morgan, was arrested and slapped with robbery charges after he allegedly broke into a woman's home on Sunday. 

According to the police, the woman securely locked her dwelling in the in Pike district about 9 p.m. and went on the road.

She returned about 3 a.m. to find Morgan in the vicinity of her home. 

Upon further checks, it was discovered that a window was broken and $15,000 stolen. The police were summoned; Morgan was taken into custody and interviewed.

During the interview, he gave a caution statement to the police admitting to the crime. He was subsequently charged.

His court date is being arranged.
