UPDATE || Members in Charles Jr's convoy crash in St Catherine

Members of a team travelling with Labour and Social Security Minister Pearnel Charles Jr on his way to an event were involved in a two-vehicle crash in St Catherine on Wednesday afternoon.

The collision occurred along a section of Highway 2000 in the vicinity of the Bernard Lodge Bridge.

The Minister’s communication team declined to provide details on the crash, only stating that Charles Jr was not injured in the collision.

However, it was indicated that the members of his team sustained injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.
