GC Foster College VP shot dead in Portmore

Vice principal at the G.C. Foster College of Physical Education and Sport, Gibbs Williams, was shot and killed in Portmore, St Catherine on Friday afternoon. 

Williams, who was also manager of Jamaica's Under-19 cricket team, was attacked the  Portmore Hospital Complex, next to the Mega Market supermarket at the Portmore Mall. 

After being shot, Williams ran inside the medical facility where he collapsed.

He was rushed to the Spanish Town Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No motive has yet been established for the attack.

Investigations are under way.
