'Reptile' slapped with gun charges
Twenty-seven-year-old Paul Barrett, otherwise called ‘Reptile’, was arrested and charged after lawmen found an illegal firearm and several rounds of ammunition in his home during a search.
A report from the St Ann's Bay Police says that about 1:30 a.m. on Friday, October 06, cops were in the Mammee Bay in St Ann when a premises that was occupied by Barrett was searched.
During the search, a .38 revolver and five rounds of ammunition were found in his bedroom. He was subsequently taken into custody.
He was charged with possession of a prohibited weapon and unauthorised possession of ammunition after he underwent a question-and-answer session in the presence of his attorney.
A court date for him is being finalised.
